A Transformation

I have to say that it has been a long time since I was out with friends.  A few co-workers and I got together and had a blast on Friday night.  I went out wearing my new fabulous shoez from Nine West!  These are killer.  They have a little metallic look to them, a sueded heel, and a little peep toe.

No one could believe the transformation.  I wear a uniform to work so it is easy to just blend into the background and forget about making yourself pretty.  To tell you the truth, I missed dressing up and displaying that fierce confidence I used to rock.  You have to do something each and everyday for you; to make yourself feel good. 

My daughter said to me, 'Mommy you look beautiful!' What is so cute is that I was not even dressed yet.  The clothes don't make you: you make the clothes.  Maintain that confidence, so it does not matter what you're wearing ( a uniform for work or that little black dress for play) ...just how you're feeling.
